Summer is here. We've planted basil, soy, and pumpkin seeds on the balcony and the first rose of the season has already opened. Sophia loves to go out on the balcony and put on her white shoes (all by herself, but often on the wrong feet), and talk to the plants.

Jen has started sewing children's clothes to sell on etsy.com and keeping a blog about the whole process. She's had a few interviews and a temporary assignment, but nothing significant has come in the last 2 months.

Ben continues to work diligently on his thesis (to be complete by December), while also working at The Well half-time and as the Teaching Assistant for all Distance Ed Church History classes at Regent College. He's lost 30 pounds on our salad-for-dinner diet and is getting really good at crossword puzzles.
